Flame Consoles

This section covers the different flamelights that are stand-alone or for incorporation into your own housings or mountings. This range are the intermediate sizes between the domestically-sized, multi-purpose Firelamp and the monster Firestorms. Depending on the model, they can sit on a table-top, be wall-mounted or hung by chains from the ceiling.

Firelamp ~ the Plugin Version

The Firelamp is light, compact, inexpensive and flexible enough to be mounted in a myriad different housings. It is available as a plug-in model with a transformer or as a wall or ceiling-mounted version with external electronics and connector block (see below). The Fire Lamp is the basic flame console that fits inside all of our table and wall flamelight models – the plug-in version is perfect for bringing unused fireplaces to life and can also be battery operated. The plug-in version can also be supplied with U.S. or European plug transformers.

The Firelamp uses a combination of a saffron-coloured flame and a multi-coloured bulb to provide a faithful representation of the spectrum of firelight colours. The filter on the bulb absorbs the shorter wavelengths of light (such as blue, indigo and violet) and transmits the longer wavelengths associated with fire (such as red, orange and yellow) and this not only gives the flame a multi-colouration but also allows flickering firelight colours to fall on adjacent walls and ceilings.

The Fire lamp flame, and consequently that of all of the wall and table flamelight models, is a far cry from the usual vaguely triangular piece of silk which has many shortcomings. Our twin flame has two pieces of flame-shaped silk joined together around an oval-shaped metal band and brings its shape into something akin to a very floppy bishop’s mitre which fits right around the bulb, rather than being suspended above it. This makes it 3-dimensional, much more incandescent (since the light has to shine through the fabric, not merely reflecting off its surface), and removes the sharp edges of the usual single flame. Best silk flame on the planet – honest guv.

The Firelamp has now been fitted with an all but silent fan - barely a whisper to be heard.

Wall Firelamp ~ the Wallmounted Version

This version of the Firelamp is is for wall or ceiling-mounting, with external electronics (the larger transformer and smaller rectifier) and connector block. The Wall Fire Lamp is the basic flame console that fits inside all of our wall flamelight models and can also be supplied with a U.S. transformer. The wall-mounting Firelamp uses the same bulb and flame confguration as the plug-in model above and is just as versatile for mounting in your own choice of housing.

Chauvet Bob

Something of a cross between a barbeque and a flying saucer, this flame machine can be ceiling-hung or floor/table-mounted on a set of legs. The Chauvet Bob is silver-grey in colour is supplied with a standard single white flame. This white flame can be upgraded to a more 3-dimensional  circular coloured one. Bob has one central blue bulb and three offset orange ones.

Antari Diablo V2

Black and cylindrical in shape, the Diablo V2 is supplied with a wall-bracket and two sizes of leg. This model is the most useful for mounting in bespoke designs where a larger flame is required, either the standard triangular white silk or a more colourful and 3-dimensional orange one.

Antari Diablo V1

Pearl black in colour and cylindrical in shape, the Diablo V1 can be wall-mounted or table-standing (wall-bracket and short legs supplied). This model is sized between the Firelamp and the Diablo V2, Again,there is a choice between the standard triangular white silk or a more colourful and 3-dimensional orange one. The flame is illuminated by a bank of blue and orange LEDs.
