The Firestorms

These are the big ones - the burst gas mains of the world of flame lighting. In this range there are four sizes from four to nine feet in overall height, box and flame. An absolute must for nightclubs, stage shows, parties, major events and functions and, of course exhibition stands (everyone wants to see who's caught fire). If you want to make a bit of a statement, the Firestorms will get you noticed.

The Firestorms have an upgrade option which may be relevant to your use. All the Firestorms have been produced for the Nightclub industry and their dark environments, the standard models being supplied with a white silk flame which is coloured from below by central blue bulbs with amber ones on either side. In better-lit environments, such as on exhibition stands or stage shows, these flames can look rather washed-out. For this reason we have had some silk dyed to a particular orange colour and we change some of the bulbs to add red and yellow bulbs to the blue and amber. This gives a bright bonfire-orange colouration to flame whatever the ambient lighting level.

The adjacent video shows the Huge, Large and Small Firestorms in action (9, 6 and 4 feet overall height respectively). Due to the financial state of the world at the moment, only the middles one is available for purchase - the other two are no longer being made at the moment, a situation that might change but not in the near future.

Huge Firestorm ~ Evolution 9

Both of the Evolution models come built into a flight case with a couple of wheels at the rear corners and a pull-out handle slung underneath (in addition to a pair of carrying handles to either side). At around 9 feet tip to toe, the Huge Evolution lives up to its name. Shipping the Evolution 9 is an issue since it is too large and heavy to send by normal carriers - you'll have to give us a call about this.

The standard model has three blue bulbs and six amber ones - the upgrade has the orange flame and replaces three amber bulbs and one blue with two yellow and two red ones. With the flame reaching such a height, the standard bulb colours struggle to reach the top of the flame when there is ambient lighting around. This makes upgrade much more worthy of consideration - give us a call if you want to discuss this.

Large Firestorm ~ Evolution 6

Flight cased with a lockable lid and carrying handles, the Evolution 6 'flies' at around the 6 foot mark. The white silk flame, 2 x blue bulbs and 3 x amber bulbs of the standard version are replaced by an orange flame and the inclusion of a yellow bulb in the upgraded version.

Large Firestorm ~ Firebird XL

The Firebird XL is around the six-foot mark in overall height and has three central blue bulbs and six amber ones. The unit is housed in a black steel casing with recessed handles to either side. The coloured flame and bulb upgrade version has an orange flame and 2 x yellow and 2 x red bulbs replace four of the amber and blue ones.

Small Firestorm ~ Firebird LG

The LG version of the Firebird is around the 4 foot mark in overall height and, as in the 6 foot XL version, it has recessed carrying handles to either side. The standard model comes in a matt black steel casing with two central blue bulbs and three amber. The upgraded model has the orange coloured flame and replaces an amber bulb with a bright yellow one to illuminate and vary the colour of the flame.
