LUXA will be closed from Thursday 21st December until Wednesday 3rd January inclusive.

We will not be able to process on-line orders that have been placed during that time until we return
on Thursday 4th January. E-mails may be responded to infrequently during this period,
but telephone calls cannot be returned so please do not leave messages.

Problems

The principal problem that we envisage while we’re away is with your bulb blowing in an untimely manner. To be embarrassingly honest, we received a batch of lamps two or three weeks ago which were sub-standard and we couldn’t pinpoint where they ended up — you might be a victim of this.

We won’t be in a position to provide replacement bulbs or other parts for the duration of our holiday absence (see top of page) and this is of great regret to us, especially at this time of year. If you can let us know the problem, whatever it is, and let us have your address and ’phone number, we’ll resolve the issue as soon as possible upon our return. If you purchased a flamelight from another company, you could contact them for help for a quicker solution.

Spare bulbs and flames can be purchased on this web site, near the bottom of this page. I think we’re the only people to use this kind of bulb — it gives out a particular fiery colour range and it is a specific wattage. If you use a bulb of greater than 8 Watts, you’ll burn out the transformer.

Christmas and New Year Closing

LUXA will be closed from Thursday 21st December to Monday 3rd January inclusive.
Any orders placed during this time will be despatched from Thursday 4th January.

If you need to contact us during this period, please e-mail us at info@luxa.co.uk rather than calling. E-mails received during this period may be replied to only very sporadically.

If you need spare parts, such as bulbs, you can contact one of our associates, TLC, via their website at www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/WFLAMP10.html. TLC are independent of LUXA and can only supply the bulbs and flames on their terms — any issues with your flamelight that need resolving will have to be dealt with by us upon our return in January, or you can try the solutions on our troubleshooting page.
