Christmas
This is just to let you know that we have passed our Flamelight business on to The Glow Company, and they will now be supplying the Firelamps (both the Standard and Red LED versions) and their replacement accessories (bulbs, transformers and flames).
You can contact The Glow Company at enquiries@glow.co.uk or on 0345 505 909 for more information regarding sales. If you have more technical questions, you can also contact us at info@luxa.co.uk.
One thing to note — flames for older Firelamp models are no longer available, and the new style flames are not compatible with the older Firelamps. Older flames have the two pieces of yellow fabric attached to a flexible white band, whereas with the new flames the fabric pieces are attached to a rigid black plastic oval band.
SNOWIES: The new Snowie lamps from Luxa make use of the same glistening frost-effect film that has made our Sparkler range the best-seller for the last two years. With a coated glass on the outside and a metallic layer to reflect back inside all the light from the warm white LEDs, and then a layer of Christmas crimson paint which has an amazing look and feel of satin. Just awesome! SPARKLERS: A sophisticated diffuser film inside these lamps splits up the light from the dozen internal warm-white LEDs into myriad points of light which then frame a winter scene of deer and fir trees, giving a bright sparkling frost effect to the entire lamp. The high-quality moulded glass has a thin coating of iridescent film and this discrete rainbow sheen is enhanced by the two-tone light from the LEDs which display gentle shades of rose and gold throughout the glowing frost effect. Elegant, stylish and available in a choice of three sizes. GLASS TWINKLERS: The Glass Twinklers retain highly-reflective metallic silver paint applied to the outside of the glass, and this then has the laser-etched design burned off it to take it back to the plain glass through which the amazing light display can be seen. A dozen LED beads flash six different colours independently whilst scrolling through three randomly-varying flashing speeds, the light from which is multiplied many times over by the endless internal reflections that fill the lamps with a kaleidoscope of colour. Lovely enough in the light, in the dark they project a wild, ever-changing and colourful display onto nearby surfaces.
